The Kicking Man Visits Boston: Dangers of Riding the Taxi

So I’m in Boston for a business trip when I decide to take a taxi back to the hotel after dinner. I start talking with the taxi driver when he tells me of the adventure he experienced just two nights before. He picked up three guys that were from out of town and started driving them home. Halfway to their destination one of the guys holds a guy to the taxi drivers head and asks for all his money. The taxi driver says that he just started for the night has only has $10 on him. The guys don’t believe him so they take out a knife and cut the guy on the arm. I’m shown the cut. The taxi driver repeats that he really does not have any money. The third guy takes out a little bat and hits him on the back of the head. I’m shown the stitches. The taxi driver pulls over and the guys run off. Luckily the guys were quickly caught by the police. The taxi driver then says that was the one night he didn’t have his gun on him because he was coming from a party. He then takes it upon himself to whip out his gun and wave it around for me to see. By this time I had reach my hotel. I quickly paid him with a nice tip for the story and left. Working on the Job in Boston can be rough.
